Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Harvey for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his former wife Claire Reese Cook; his parents, Aron Cook and Annie Boyd Cook; and his siblings, Mildred Sartin Simms, Donald Williams, Shirley Sartin, Delois Bettevy and Ronald Sartin.
He is survived by: his wife Gabie Chumney; and his children, Anna Bankester (Charles) and Robert Cook (Alejandra). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (2063 John H King Srv Rd, Pineville, LA 71360). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
