He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bentley and Mildred Smith McNeal. He is survived by: his wife Deanna Harmson McNeal; his children, Johnette McNeal-Coco (Greg), Tina McNeal Gad (Nabil) and Troy L. McNeal (Stacey); his sister Betty Mathes (Dave); his grandchildren, Brian Farrar, Lakin Nugent, Cody McNeal, Trey McNeal (Macy), Sarah Gad, Michael Gad and Noah Gad; and his great grandchildren, Kase McNeal and Palmer McNeal.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Pineville (2701 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Winifred Catholic Church (2644 US-167, Lecompte, LA 71331).
He served as a board member for the Ward One Community Foundation for over 10 years and was instrumental in helping with community projects such as Easter on the Red, Halloween Walking Treat, and Veteran's and Memorial Day celebrations.
