He was predeceased by: his former wife Melba Gilbert Brunson; his wife Mary Ann Brunson; his son Daryl Brunson; his parents, Johnnie Elmo Brunson and Claudia Estelle Slayter Brunson; his stepmother Alma "June" Brunson; his siblings, DeLloyd Brunson, Sr., Harold David Brunson, Dora Corley and Roe Berta Brister; his great grandchild Caden Willis; and his great great grandchild Asher Houston.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Seal (Robert), Marleen Snoddy (Dennis) and Patti Spencer (Greg); his brother Johnnie "Buck" Brunson (Elaine); his sister-in-law Brenda Brunson; his grandchildren, Becky Shew, Eric Willis (Andrea), Amos Spencer, Tyler Nevill (Linzay), Cassie Kight Abigail Snoddy (Taylor) and Cora Snoddy (Tom); and his great grandchildren, Ana, Taylor, Heath, Christian, Callie, Brenden, Cole, Brady, William, Ruby and Noah.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Pineville (2701 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
