In loving memory of John Cross (Pineville, Louisiana), who departed this world on October 17, 2025 at the age of 88. John leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Oscar Cross and Mary Gertrude Rosier Cross; and his siblings, Fred Cross, O. G. Cross, Arnold Cross, Ernie Cross, Tony Cross, Joy Richardson, Dovie Green and Gloria Hale.
He is survived by: his wife Minnie Ora Youngblood Cross; his daughters, Sandra "Sandy" Moreau Wiley (Gary) of Deville and Stacey Moreau Mabou (Lance) of Larto; and his grandchildren, Terry Bradshaw (Kimberly), Michael Bradshaw (Erica), Angelle Oltremari (Chase), Sarah Shackleford, Krista Bettevy, Alex Mabou (Amanda), Taylor Mabou (Amanda) and Krysta Bradford (Brandon). He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Landmark Tabernacle Church.
