She was predeceased by: her husband George C. Carter; her son George C. Carter, Jr.; her brother Phillip C. "Buster" Haworth; and her parents, Phillip Haworth and Mary Haworth.
She is survived by: her friend Tuma; her children, Mary J. Carter and Monte Townley; her sister Phillis Swain; her sisters-in-law, Patty Carter Burrows and Markita Edwards; her grandsons, Jake Townley (Morgan), Blake Townley (Susan), Bryan Edwards (Laci), Cory Edwards (Mariah) and Austin Edwards (Shelby); and her great grandchildren, Jaylen Townley, Madilyn Townley, Presleigh Edwards, Ryker Edwards, Paxton Edwards, Hunter Edwards, Emma "Biscuit" Townley and Hayden Edwards. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
