He was predeceased by : his parents, Emmette Jr. Mayeaux and Audrey Mayeaux (McCoy); and his siblings, Audrey Louise Mayeaux Garrison, Bessie Mayeaux, James Emmette Mayeaux, Robert Paul Mayeaux, John Mayeaux and Richard Lee Mayeaux.

He is survived by : his wife Shirley Annette Mayeaux (Bounds); his grandchildren, Taylor Mayeaux (Meghen), Tanner Mayeaux, Alliene Wayne (Devin) and Emily Vincent (William); and his siblings, Janelle Dupuy, Doris Rollins, Dorothy Colvin and Ronnie Mayeaux Sr. (Beth). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 8:30 AM at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Pineville (2701 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360). A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (1220 Tioga Rd, Ball, LA 71405).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes.
