He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian Reagle Tinsley; his parents, James Edward and Virginia Meeks Tinsley; and his brother William Allen Tinsley. He is survived by: his children, Samuel Alan Tinsley (Carrie) and Lois Paul (Barry); his grandchildren, Crystal Paul Preuett (Stephen), Heather Tinsley Pitre (Nick), Brooke Tinsley, Samuel Austin Tinsley (Tori) and Jackson Tinsley; his great grandchild Isabella Preuett; and his sisters, Delores Wright (Jerry), Donna Weidman (Don) and Rachel Powdrill (Sam).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to The Edge Free Methodist Church, as a tribute to a man who dedicated so much of his life to serving others.
