Terry James Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 8, 2025, at the age of 60, Terry James Smith of Pineville, Louisiana, born in Minot, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Eugene and Jacqueline Loken Smith. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Praska Smith; his daughters, Melinda Faye Thomisee (Branden) and Jessica Lynn Lawhon (Cade); his siblings, Glen Smith, Patrick Smith (Mary) and Paula Davis (Jeff); his mother-in-law Alice Praska; his sisters-in-law, Donna Fontenot (Charlie) and Kathy Rosier (Larry Dale); and his grandchildren, Clayton, Caroline, Cooper, Luke, Eli and Crew. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and numerous other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Pineville (2701 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
