It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Elizabeth Steinkamp of Pitkin, Louisiana, who passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Hubert Dunn and Essie Ellen Green Pittman; her son Clyde Bryan Woods Steinkamp; her son-in-law James Adams; and her siblings, Judy Hillman, Anita Gagneux and Kenneth Pittman.
She is survived by : her former life partners, Ronald Gene Woods and William Charles Steinkamp; her daughters, Brenda Adams of Sunset, LA, Ellen Beeny (Rick) of Mount Vernon, Ronda Lickteig (John) of Trenton and Judith Pittman (David Burns) of Roxie, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Jerrod Adams (Kacey Cormier), Todd Mitchell (Stormy), Richard Jeremiah Mitchell (Jesica), Britton Beeny, Kaylee Wood (Travis), Kendra Lickteig (Tristan Biswell) and Isaiah Lickteig; her great grandchildren, Adalynn, Silas, Justus, Shaylan, Waylan, Autumn, Lucas, Lincoln, Elizabeth, Toby, Zoey, Aris, Rowan and Asher; and her siblings, Glenda O'Neill of Pitkin and Frank Pittman (Leta) of Forest Hill. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
