It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emmitt Coker of Pitkin, Louisiana, who passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Emmitt Coker to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Coker and Mae Belle Coker; and his granddaughter Kelsey Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Rayetta Coker of Pitkin; his children, Emmitt C. Coker (Donna) of Pitkin, Jon Coker (Hannah) of Beaumont, Luke Coker, Sommer Coker of Pitkin, Rhonda Coker and Basile; and his grandchildren, Kaden Thompson, Brycen Coker, Kelton Coker, Skye Thompson, MaKayla Coker and Emma Coker.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Westport Friendship Baptist Church (121 Singletary Rd, Pitkin, LA 70656). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
