With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Adkins of Pitkin, Louisiana, who passed away on July 9, 2022 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Johnny Adkins; and his grandparents, W. E., Marie Adkins, Earnest and Maggie Thompson.

He is survived by : his mother Carolyn Thompson Melder of Pitkin; his brother Shad Stewart (Kelley) of Pitkin; his aunts, Joye Hinton of Farmerville, Belva Ryan of Pitkin and Jackie Thompson of West Monroe; his nephew Mason Stewart of DeRidder; and his niece Mattie Stewart of Tyler, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to First Baptist Church, Pitkin.
