With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Dupont of Plaquemine, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 28, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Trista Parro; his parents, Joseph Jr. Dupont and Angela Hannon Dupont; and his siblings, Kathleen Fulton and Joseph "Pat" Dupont, III.
He is survived by: his wife Ruthie Lively Dupont; and his siblings, Caecilia "Teal" Wintz (Dan), Angela Watts (Mike), Andrea Robinson (Terrell) and Adrian Dupont (Marsha). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Grace Memorial Park (60455 Bayou Jacob Rd, Plaquemine, LA 70764).
To defray the cost of the funeral, memorial donations may be made to the family.
