With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold J. Pitre of Plaquemine, Louisiana, who passed away on February 20, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Ruth C. Pitre; his children, Tami Pitre and Randy Pitre; his parents, Cyril, Sr. Pitre and Mabel Leonard Pitre; and his siblings, Camille Baron, Daisy LeJeune, Cecile Pitre, Muriel Rhed, Jennie, Judy Pitre, Dibert, Preston "Pat", Cyril "Buck", Freddie, Bill, Arthur and Curtis Pitre.

He is survived by : his son Michael Pitre (Irma); his granddaughters, Jennifer Dalbor (Boyd) and Ashley Pitre; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Pitre, Grace "Butsy" Pitre and Bessie Pitre. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
