He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Hicks (Scottie Moore), Sabrina Ash (Andrew), Jason Seneca and Joe Smith, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jacqueline Wright, Zachary Driver, Farrah Moore, Tylor Ash, Chelsea Ash (Leo Gauthreaux) and Aiden Seneca; and his sister Doris Riggs. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
