We announce the death of Vories Kelley (Plaquemine, Louisiana), who passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kelley and Ruby Ashley Kelley; and his siblings, Nelson, Acie, Louis, Hubert, Aurthur, Lois, Mamie, Mary Kelley, Annie Higgins and Helen Henson.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Kelley; his children, Ronnie Kelley (Donna), Stephanie Landry (Sidney), Missy Ponce, Eric Kelley and Kristi McPhate (Derrick); his grandchildren, Brant, Aleigh, Shannon, Candis of Amber, E. J., Preston, Patrick and Lauren; his siblings, Elise Mott, Harold Kelley, James "Jim" Kelley and Verlie Pierre; and his nephew Ethan Wunstell. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
