He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Walter Louis Bridges, Jarrod James Simmons, Charles Butler Sr., Mavis B. Davis, Bennyka Butler-Vessel (Darrel) and Danelle Butler; his siblings, Ada Simmons-Tracie (James Jr), Tony Simmons (Shawanda Henderson) and Joseph Spinks; his grandchildren, Kyler Carlin, Darrel Vessel Jr., Aysan Butler, Jenna Bernard, Charles Butler Jr. and Darrius Vessel; and his godson Travis Whighamy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews cousins, other relatives and friends.
