He was predeceased by: his son Randy Edwards; his granddaughters, Michaela and Kaitlynn Edwards; his parents, William "Buster" Edwards and Margie Wheat Edwards; his siblings, Benjamin "Ben Ben" Edwards and Julia Daley; and his in-laws, Robert and Betty Daley.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Edwards; his children, William "Willie" Edwards, III (Sherrie) and Letha Daley; his grandchildren, Austin Daley, William "Lil Willie" Edwards, IV (Victoria), Landon Edwards, Randy Edwards, II, Sierra Edwards and Nathan Winters; and his siblings, Mary Berthelot (Daniel), Winnie Mae Edwards, Wayne Edwards, Westley Edwards (Jennifer) and Frankie Edwards (Clorisa). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Wilbert Funeral Home (24120 Railroad Ave, Plaquemine, LA 70764). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Grace Memorial Park (60455 Bayou Jacob Rd, Plaquemine, LA 70764).
