She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Dugas and Eva Cavalier Dugas. She is survived by: her husband Darryl Leonard; her sons, Chad Miller (Dawn) and Jason Miller (Melissa); her stepdaughters, Dawn LeBlanc (Ryan), Sybil Templet (Arliss) and Amber Ponvelle (Travis); her grandchildren, Dylan Giroir (Candace), Austin Miller (Alexis), Dakota Miller, Lexi Miller (De'Ondre), Sydney Miller, Jacelynn Landry, Jaylee Louviere, Jaxon LeBlanc, Gunner LeBlanc, Kegan Templet, Brycen Cannella and Brynlee Cannella; her great grandchildren, Chevie Giroir, Charlotte Miller, Iris Miller, Nevaeh Giroir and Clea Landry; and her siblings, Michael Dugas, Louis Dugas and Elaine Zeringue. She is also survived by many nieces and godchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Assumption Catholic Church (6272 LA-308, Belle Rose, LA 70393). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Janet's memory.
