Rosielien Brown Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rosielien Brown in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana, born in Dequincy, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 18, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Meshell and Corrine Stains; her brothers, Martin Meshell, Ronnie Meshell, Billy Ray Meshell and Peter Roy Stains; and her grandchildren, Kelsi Wates and R. J. Wates.
She is survived by: her children, Trey Brown (Tonya) and Rosemary Wates; her son-in-law Bobby Wates; her siblings, Mary Jo Campbell and Emmett Meshell (Linda); her grandchildren, Christian Brown (Hannah), Brayliegh Ryan (Dalton), Boogie Brown (Lana), Allison Brown (Braiden), Chelsi Wates, Madison Wates and Carson Wates; and her great grandchildren, Raelynn Ryan, Huntley Craig and Asher Brown. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Old Pisgah Baptist Church (15192 LA-120, Marthaville, LA 71450). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 at the Springridge Cemetery (2038 W 4th St, Pleasant Hill, LA 71065).
