With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Wayne Kees of Pollock, Louisiana, born in Alexandria, Louisiana, who passed away on May 8, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin P. Kees and Mariam G. Maddox (Kees); and his sister Anna Rose Carmouche. He is survived by: his children, James "Russ" Kees (Jaclyn) and Deanna Cardwell (Chad); his grandchildren, Noah Morace, Hannah Soreide (Hunter), Luke Morace, Madeline "Maddie" Cardwell, Olivia Kees, Camryn Vaughn and Evan Vaughn; his sister Betty Thompson; and his close friend Mary Worley.
