He was predeceased by: his father Dell S. Durand, Jr.; his stepfather Louis E. Phillips; his grandparents, Dell S. Durand, Sr., Grace Wilson Durand, Doil D. Garlington, Sr. and Winona Nugent Garlington; his siblings, Dell S. Durand, III, Darla Durand Peavy and Karen Durand Thompson; and his brother-in-law Mitchel Wayne Thompson.

He is survived by: his mother Grace Eloise Phillips; his girlfriend Sunday Allen; his children, Sarah Laine Durand, Brian Allen Durand and Daniel Keith Durand; and his siblings, Lori Durand Geiger (John) and Darian S. Durand (Jessie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
