He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Ray Coleman; his son Kelvin Coleman; his parents, Charles Coleman and Donnie Coleman; and his sister Ruby Bynog.

He is survived by: his children, Charlie Coleman (Julie) of Pollock and Michelle Nicholson (John) of Elm Grove; and his grandchildren, Steven Bailey, Austin Wingerd, Brandon Coleman, Dustin Coleman, Justin Coleman, Sharley Barrow (Andrew), Shelby Bryan (Stephen) and Ashley Legg (Trevor). He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
