With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Monroe of Pollock, Louisiana, who passed away on May 15, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jefferson Monroe and Velma Monroe; and his siblings, Murrell Monroe, Clara Glenn and Estelle Crooms.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Monroe of Pollock; his sons, Dwayne Monroe (Shannon) of Dry Prong and Terry Monroe (Kalinda) of Pollock; his grandchildren, Danae Monroe, McKenzee Lambert (Hunter) and Nathan Monroe (Josey); and his sisters, Mary Beasley of Dry Prong and Lessie Kelley (Bill) of Dry Prong.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bentley United Pentecostal Church (19578 US-167, Dry Prong, LA 71423). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
