He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. Slaughter and Dorothy Slaughter. He is survived by: his wife Rose Maria Slaughter; his children, Dalton Shane Slaughter, Kerry Seay (Cody), Daniel Walters (Mandi) and Amanda Martin (Andres); his brothers, Michael Slaughter (Gayle) of Houston and Russell Slaughter (Loretta) of Pollock, Louisiana.; and his grandson Jackson Shane Slaughter.
