He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Alston and Lorraine Alston; and his sisters, Barbara Earline Black (William) and Claudia Alston Snell (Joe Snell, Sr.). He is survived by: his wife Glenda Gunter Alston; his sons, Jason Alston (Josie) and Chad Alston (Cortney); his brother Johnnie Alston (Shelley); and his grandsons, Will Alston, Luke Alston, Elijah Alston, Ethan Wild and Aiden Wild. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
