He was predeceased by: his parents, Morgan Lamar Briggs, Sr. and Grace Fitzgerald Briggs. He is survived by: his wife Polly Shipp Briggs; his children, Robin Durand (Jed), Andrea Willis (Stormy) and Ryan Briggs (Andrea); his brother Randy Briggs (Charlotte); his grandchildren, Camden, Harper, Carter, Rylan and Russell; and his mother-in-law Marie Reech.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the The Sanctuary (1701 Expressway Dr, Pineville, LA 71360). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
