We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2025, at the age of 90, Annie Mae Portier of Ponchatoula, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Milton James Portier; her children, Betty Sue Regan Duarte, Milton James Portier, Jr. and Curtis William Wood; her parents, Littie Louella and Joseph Elvin Beard; her siblings, Frances Shelton, Richard Beard, Dorothy Farlow and Lucille Sibley; and her great grandchild Justin Lee Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Annie Louise Wood, Patricia Ann Vining (Ronald) and Joseph Arthur Portier (Anjie); and her great great grandchild Raelynn.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ln Hughes Funeral Services (21400 S I - 12 Service Rd, Ponchatoula, LA 70454). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sandhill Cemetery (40119 Sandhill Cemetery Rd, Ponchatoula, LA 70454).
