It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Elizabeth Hutchinson Barker (Ponchatoula, Louisiana), who passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Huntley Robert Hutchinson and Alice Elizabeth Perrin Hutchinson; her husband Rusty Barker; and her brother Ronnie Hutchinson (Peggy). She is survived by: her daughter Kristi Barker Cotter of Franklin, NC; her grandchildren, Westley Cotter of Franklin, NC, Noel Cotter Paulling (Ryan) of Micanopy and Oliver Cotter of Franklin, NC; her great grandchildren, Victoria, Meredith and Aiden Paulling; her siblings, Bobby Hutchinson (Neva), Glenn Hutchinson (Lana), Tommy Hutchinson (Susan) and Dale Hutchinson; and her sister-in-law Joyce Barker Warren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
