He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Drude Ott; and his wife Edna Ott. He is survived by: his father Odell Ott; his stepdaughter Mary Sciortino (Samuel); his sister Cathy Lofton; his stepgrandchildren, Laken and Samuel Sciortino II (Christina); and his nieces and nephews, Trey Lofton and Dale.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home (2000 N Morrison Blvd, Hammond, LA 70401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
