Daniel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his mother Lynn Bishop; his stepfather Larry Bishop; his father Dan Chalk; his stepmother Jean Chalk; and his grandparents, W. T., Jean Smith, Clarence and Sybil Chalk.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cypress Chalk (AJ Worthington), Andrea Chalk and Charlotte Chalk; his wife Catherine Pusey Chalk; his siblings, Cheryl Knapp (John Knapp), Margaret Viroga (Alvaro Viroga), Steve Bishop and Russ Bishop; and his in-laws, AJ and Ellen Pusey. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and many other precious family members and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Ln Hughes Funeral Services (21400 S I - 12 Service Rd, Ponchatoula, LA 70454). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Chapel of Ln Hughes Funeral Services (21400 S I - 12 Service Rd, Ponchatoula, LA 70454).
