With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris Drury McCahill of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 27, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Doris Drury may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Doris Drury touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Pierson Drury and Steve J. Drury, Jr.; and her husband John Renhard McCahill. She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy McCahill DeJean (Leon), Erin McCahill Boyd (Jason) and Paula McCahill Bowers (Simon); her grandchildren, Hunter DeJean (Katie), Hayden DeJean and Abby Boyd; her great grandchild Kash DeJean; and her brother Steve R. Drury.
