We announce the death of Edward Joseph Reese Sr. of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, born in Hammond, Louisiana, who passed away on August 17, 2026, at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his wife Lynn Sheridan Reese; his parents, Camille Reese and Ottis Reese; his parents-in-law, Bethel and Ray Sheridan; and his siblings-in-law, Gwen, David Alexander, Bobbie, Jimmy Sheridan and Don Sheridan.
He is survived by: his sons, Eddie Joe Reese, Jr. (Rita), Kevin Reese (Monica) and Darian Reese (Bridget); his grandchildren, Marie Cofield (Nick), Trey Reese (Emily), Monica Fontenot (Dusty), Whitney Reese, Kaleb Reese and Ashlyn Aucoin (Nate); his great grandchildren, Sharon, Savannah Cofield, Dusty Fontenot, Jr., Lennon and Greyson Reese; and his sister-in-law Linda Sheridan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
