It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Cecile Thibodaux Wright in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Autin Thibodaux and Pennington Emile Thibodaux, Sr.; her husband William Wright, Sr.; her grandson Zachary Cutrer; and her siblings, Evelyn T. Hebert and Pennington Emile Thibodaux, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, William "Billy" Wright, Jr. (Christy), Brett Wright (Erin), David Wright, Jeffrey Wright (Craig Jones) and Jean "Jeanie" Wright Cutrer (Richard, Jr.); her grandchildren, Kellsie Wright Gremillion (Nick), Monica Wright, Valerie Wright Krall (Brad), Philip Wright (Katherine), Kalley Wright LeRoy (Jared), Madeline Janney, Nicholas Wright, Gabriel Wright, Tyler Wright (Rebecca), Jacob Wright, Blaine Cutrer (Amber), Andrew Cutrer and Kasey Kirby Hill; her great grandchildren, Luke Gremillion, Lakelyn Krall, Brinley Dunigan, Sydney LeRoy, Charlotte Wright, Beau Wright, Emma Wright, Luke Villalta and Jake Hill; and her sister Emily Ann Boudreaux. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar St. Joseph Catholic Church (255 N 8th St, Ponchatoula, LA 70454). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at the Ponchatoula Cemetery (18392 Wisteria Dr, Ponchatoula, LA 70454).
