As Howard Curtis departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Howard Curtis. Though Howard Curtis may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Golda Caroline Poche and Wallace William Wells, Sr.; his siblings, Carolyn Faust Daigle (E. J. Daigle) and Wallace "Sonny" Wells, Jr. (JoeAnn Baham); and his nephew Kerry "Skipper" Wells.
He is survived by: his brothers, Carl Raymond Wells (Sandra Dominguez Wells) and David Poche Wells. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the French Corner Baptist Church (39715 Teel Rd, Ponchatoula, LA 70454). A burial was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sand Hill Cemetery (40199 Sandhill Cemetery Rd, Ponchatoula, LA 70454).
