With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Cook Laird of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, who passed away on February 15, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Allen Marshall Cook and Hazel Dugan Cook; her daughters, Leslie Biester and Jennifer Renee Laird; and her granddaughter Amanda Biester.

She is survived by : her husband Stanley Laird; her sons, Micheal Laird and Allen Laird (Sandy); her grandchildren, Jake, Jeb Laird, Rebecca Laird, Jada Laird, Carson Briggs-Laird and Niki; her great grandchildren, Rhianna Alexander and Zayden Laird; and her brother Lester W. Cook.
