With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of June Ann Hughes of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, born in Lancaster, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2026 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her son Mark Hughes; her grandsons, Sam Hughes and Lee Holloway; her parents, Grover Binkley and Clara Binkley; and her grandmother Bertha Agatha Auker.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Hughes; her sons, Clay Hughes (Karen) and Scott Hughes (Missy); her grandchildren, Angel Sky (Daniel), Brook Foucheaux, Aaron Navarre, Seth Hughes (Claire), Chais Hughes (Kerry), Stephen Smith, Amber East, Samantha Faith, Ashley Revere (Justin), Lauren Emenes (Gage) and Maddie Hughes; and her friend Tim Shaw. She is also survived by her husband and raising her sons, always placing her family.
