He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Marion Sr. and Elizabeth "Betty" Templet Cazes; and his brother Patrick Kevin "Pat" Cazes. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Jarreau Cazes; his children, Chrissy Cazes Simoneaux (Dale), Michelle Cazes Olinde (Ryan) and Brian Cazes (Laurie); his grandchildren, Daleigh Simoneaux (Brock), Ryler Simoneaux, Peyton, Preston Olinde, Allie, Anna Grace and Ashlynn Johnson; his great grandchild AudreyAnn Bourg; and his siblings, Joseph Marion "Jim" Cazes Jr. (Grace), Mary Kathleen "Kathy" Cazes Wilbert (Calvin "Pat" Jr.) and David Cazes (Denise). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (402 S Kirkland St, Brusly, LA 70719). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
