He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Viger, Sr. and Margaret "Bonnie" Bonnecaze; and his brother Steven. He is survived by: his wife Mary Gale Marino; his daughter Danielle Nicholson (Eric); and his granddaughters, Hannah and Addison Pittman.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church (445 Marquette Ave, Baton Rouge, LA 70806). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
