We are sad to announce that on May 5, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Yma Lemon (Port Allen, Louisiana). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Yma's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. Visitation was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hall's Celebration Center (9348 Scenic Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70807).

“Yma Lemon was a wonderful person and a masterful hair colorist. She not only helped me with beauty matters for over 30 years but she helped me through two bouts of different types of cancer. We cried together after her sister’s untimely death, and had many discussions about life, politics, and faith. She has a beautiful soul which will hopefully always be with us in our hearts forever.”
