Stephen R. Cernich Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen R. Cernich of Prairieville, Louisiana, who passed away on October 6, 2025 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Christopher Cernich; his grandparents, Howard, Mae Butler, Calvin Sr. and Ruth Cernich; his uncle James Butler; and his in-laws, Bill and Carol Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Roberts Cernich; his children, Fallene Cannon (Trent), Christopher Cernich (Kelly), Chance Cernich (Brittney) and Courtney Savoy; his grandchildren, Olivia, Bryce Cannon, Ryder and Raylee Mayeux; his parents, Calvin Jr. Cernich and Carolyn Butler Cernich; his brother Kevin Cernich; his sibling's children, Michael and Haleigh Cernich; and his pet Jax.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Gonzales Memorial VFW (42430 Churchpoint Rd, Gonzales, LA 70737).
