He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Freeman and Marie Bowman Freeman; his wife Kathryn Goza Freeman; his grandsons, Daniel Freeman and Dustin Freeman; and his siblings, Donald Freeman, O. C. Freeman, Dorthy Izard and Earline Freeman.
He is survived by: his sons, Rodney Freeman and Randy Freeman; his grandchildren, Damion Freeman, Kayla Freeman, Kathryn Freeman Miller, Charlie Freeman, Amber Freeman, Tiffany Freeman and Stephanie Freeman Pare; and his great grandchild Gavin Conerly.
