She was predeceased by: her husband Warren "Bud" J. Lacoste; her children, Virginia L. Caston and Charles "Teddy" R. Lacoste; her parents, Robert Lee Kent and Virginia Kent; and her siblings, Paula Wilson, Marie Lockhart, Bobby Kent and Roy Kent.

She is survived by: her children, Violet Inez Coleman (Gerald) and Richard Lacoste; her sisters, Shirley Jarreau and Jeanie Pourciau; and her grandchildren, Dana Mills (Shawn), Holly White, Ginger Ory (Jason), Andy Coleman, Katie Hopkins (Bronson), John Lacoste, Ricki Ann Linarello (Dan), Amber Lacoste and Casey Domingue (Alex). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
