He is survived by: his wife Margie McLaren; his daughters, Brenda Sparks Carney (Rocky) of Robeline and Linda Sparks (Michael Bordelon) of Alexandria; his grandchildren, Rocky Carney Jr. (Marcy) of Natchitoches, Louisiana. and Amber Howell of Natchitoches, Louisiana.; his great grandchildren, Aidan, Evan, Andi Carney, Jaxon, Greyson, Sutton Angelle, Mallory McDaniel, Cole, Caroline Bordelon, Lane, Landry and Levi Deen; his siblings, Bonnie Rutherford (Bob) of DeRidder, Ralph Sparks (Marlene) of Deer Park, J. T. Sparks (Linda) of Toledo Bend and Freddy Sparks (Ruby) of Provencal; and his nephew Peyton Sparks.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the Blanchard St Denis Funeral Home (848 Keyser Ave, Natchitoches, LA 71457).
