He is survived by: his wife Flora Newsom-Stringer; his daughter Melinda Stringer; and his sibling's children, Bill Stringer, Jr. (Melissa), Steve Stringer (Deanna), Brian Keith Taylor (Michelle) and Cheryl Ann Stringer.
