He is survived by: his wife Barbara Harris Petty; his children, Sam Petty (Giovanni) and Lisa Gray (James); his brother David Petty; his grandson Roy Madere; and his great grandchildren, Tori, Antoine and Mason Madere. He is also survived by 4 great-great grandchildren.
