She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Robertson Lawson and Raymond Lawson, Sr.; her grandparents, Henry Lawson, Sr. and Rona Smith Lawson; her brothers, Vincent Lawson and Calvin Diggs; her nieces and nephews, Kentrell Charles, Sr., Tyrez Folse, Chantel Lawson and Tyraneka Folse; and her father-in-law Albert Fleming.
She is survived by: her husband Albert Thomas; her daughter Montez Young (Flored); her siblings, Raymond Lawson, Jr., Jammie Lawson (Janet), Tyrone Folse (Victory) and Karen Lawson; her stepchildren, Terrious Hill, Katia Fair and Tyrell Murphy; her grandchildren, Chad James, Jr., Cailyn James, Chance Rose, Jr. and Chanya Rose; her great grandchildren, Chad James, III, James, Ciana James and Zara Graves; her goddaughter Janell Royal; and her mother-in-law Linda Thomas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
