He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Landry Arabie; his parents, Horace Paul and Annette Landry Arabie; his son Daniel P. Arabie; and his brother Milton P. Arabie.

He is survived by: his children, Dana Arabie (Lynelle), Davey Arabie (Kimberly) and Donna Arabie Percle (Kenneth); and his grandchildren, Jeremy, Alicia, Benjamin, Ashley, Danielle, Alyssa and Seth. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
