He is survived by: his wife Betty Thibodaux; his children, Lydia Thibodaux (Kim), Lynette Callahan (Reed) and Lonnie Thibodaux (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Rudy Laris III (Heidi), Rene Thibodaux (Rhyannon), Gabrielle Thibodaux and Abby Callahan (Grant); his great grandchildren, Rhen, Reece Thibodaux, Rudy IV and Vail Laris; his grandson Kenneth Fairchild; and his pet Maggie.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church (333 Twin Oaks Dr, Raceland, LA 70394). A Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Hilary Cemetery (333 Twin Oaks Dr, Raceland, LA 70394).
