He is survived by: his wife Sheila Thayer; his son Jason Thayer; his mother Virginia Raggio Thayer; and his siblings-in-law, Paula Benjamin, John Baer (Sue), William Baer (Lynda) and Thomas Baer (Gina). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
