It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Louis Matranga of Raceland, Louisiana, who passed away on November 8, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Geraldine Matranga; his brother Leo Matranga; and his grandparents, Louis, Ophelia Foret, John and Nicoline Matranga.
He is survived by: his wife Andrea Matranga; his son Andre Dufrene (Kayla); his grandchildren, Karleigh and Andee Dufrene; his father John Matranga; his siblings, Corey Matranga, Peter Matranga, Colette Matranga, Danine Doane, Natasha Matranga, Angelle Matranga and Jeanette'JJ'Matranga; and his godchildren, Jeb Matranga and Parker Chouest. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Mark Matranga's name to St. Mary's Nativity Church.
